Academic and industrial collaboration: Developing a Td and Tdap vaccine in collaboration with Green Cross

In the upcoming World Vaccine Congress Asia 2013, Professor Kang Jin Han will be joining us as one of the speakers. Hear more about developing a Td and Tdap vaccine as he tells us more about the academic and industrial collaboration with Green Cross. He will be reviewing epidemiology of tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis in Korea and the opportunities for development of Tdap vaccines, as well as speaking on developing clinical trial strategies to minimise risk and expedite vaccine development process of Td vaccine for adults and overcoming challenges of conducting clinical studies of td and Tdap vaccine.

Prof. Kang is currently the President of the Biomedical Industry Institute in The Catholic University of Korea. He has previously worked as a visiting researcher in the department of Molecular Pathology in the University of Oklahoma and as a professor of the Department of Pediatrics in the Catholic University of Korea. Prof. Kang holds a doctoral degree from The Catholic University of Korea.
