What is Hexaxim?

â— A new, unique, fully liquid, 6 in 1 pediatric vaccine, combining a new Sanofi Pasteur recombinant hepatitis B antigen produced in Hansenula polymorpha with five well established antigens manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur and extensively used worldwide since 1997 as Tetravac/Tetraxim (DTaP-IPV) and Pentavac/Pentaxim (DTaPIPV//Hib)

â— For primary and booster vaccination of infants and toddlers from 6 weeks to 24 months of age against six WHO priority diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis, hepatitis B, invasive diseases caused by Haemophilus influenza type b

â— To respond to unmet medical needs and improve the standard of care in lower-middle income countries, Sanofi Pasteur prioritized the development of Hexaxim for emerging countries
