Delphi Genetics is an expert service provider for gene expression, DNA cloning and recombinant protein production. Work to develop research kits for Molecular Cloning and Protein Expression based on proprietary technologies, products sold directly by the company and globally distributed. The company also licenses technologies for biopharmaceutical applications.

Philippe Gabant, Head of Business Development, Delphi Genetics, joined us at the World Manufacturing Congress in Washington 2012 to present of the development of a bacterial poison-antidote module for E.coli. His presentation centred on the issues surrounding the use of antibiotic markers in an E.Coli vaccine: those industrial, regulatory and the drawbacks in bioproduction. To address these issues, he then discussed the StabyExpress technology, a new selection and stabilization tool designed to address these issues. There are many benefits to this technology, first and foremost that there is no need to use antibiotics in the production process, therefore meeting regulatory guidelines.
